AGOS Claimer of the Week: It’s Angie’s time at the Big A

the Big A race horse Time for Angie waited patiently behind the early leader, battled, and worked her way to her fifth consecutive victory by taking the fourth race at Aqueduct last Friday afternoon. It was the eleventh career win for the mare that has been named the Claimer of the Week. The California bred defeated $12,500 claimers and covered the 6 furlongs in 1:13.32. The 5 year old returned $5.00 to her supporters once the race was official. The daughter of Time to Get Even was ridden to victory by Kendrick Carmouche and is owned by the Drawing Away Stable. She is trained by Paul Barrow, who claimed her on February 11. Time for Angie has now finished in the money (top 3) 17 times from 27 career races. Her lifetime earnings now exceed $290,000.
