AGOS Claimer of the Week: Wild Card holds winning hand at Turfway

Wild Card Hit made a big late move in between rivals and hit the wire two lengths ahead of her nearest rival to win the fifth race at Turfway Park last Thursday night. Wild Card Hit has been named the Claimer of the Week. The filly stopped the timer for the one mile event on the Polytrack in 1:41.89. Once the 4 year old had her fifth career victory go official she paid her backers $16.80. Ridden by Orlando Mojica the daughter of Wildcat Heir defeated $8,000 claimers for her second win at Turfway from 3 starts at the Kentucky Oval. Owned and trained by Olivo Iniro, the bay has finished in the money (top three finishers) in 12 of her 27 lifetime starts. Her career earnings now exceed $65,000.
