20 HOURS OF LIVE ON-SITE BREEDERS’ CUP COVERAGE BEGINS TUESDAY ON HRRN

TVG’s Christina Blacker Joins HRRN Broadcast Team

Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN), the Eclipse Award-winning broadcast organization based in Lexington, KY, announced Monday it will provide 20 hours of on-site Breeders’ Cup coverage live from Santa Anita Park beginning Tuesday, October 30.

HRRN’s coverage kicks off Tuesday morning with the network’s popular Breeders’ Cup Countdown Show hosted live from Santa Anita’s Clockers’ Corner from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. ET.  The Breeders’ Cup Countdown can be heard each morning Tuesday through Friday and features interviews with jockeys, trainers, owners, handicappers, and various industry professionals, as well as real time reports and updates as Breeders’ Cup contenders appear on the track.

HRRN returns Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3 with exclusive live coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships for the sixth consecutive year.  Coverage airs Friday from 4-8 p.m. ET and Saturday from 3-9 p.m. ET with pre and post race interviews, analysis and the live call of each Breeders’ Cup race.

HRRN will also host a special Breeders’ Cup edition of their weekly Equine Forum show on Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET.

HRRN’s broadcasts will be available nationwide on SiriusXM satellite radio as well as on HRRN affiliates throughout the country.  Listeners can also tune in throughout the week on the Breeders’ Cup app available for iPhone and iPad users.  All Breeders’ Cup week broadcasts will be streamed live on the HRRN website,www.horseracingradio.net.

HRRN’s Eclipse Award-winning broadcast team will be anchored by HRRN President, Mike Penna, along with analysts Jude Feld and Kurt Becker with paddock interviews and commentary provided by Sean Clancy, Christina Blacker and Roy Steele.  Michelle Penna and Lee Dellapina will produce.
