“Shore” thing takes AGameofskill.com Claimer of the Week

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comLogan’sshorebreeze held on bravely in the fourth race at Hawthorne Sunday to take the agameofskill.com claimer of the week honors. The 6 year old raced in mid-pack for the opening quarter before advancing smartly to grab the lead at the quarter pole. Trained by Don Bentler, Logan’sshorebreeze had to fight the last 3/16 of a mile to hang on to his slim half length advantage. Owned by Steven Bush, the gelding brought the tote board to life with a $47.00 win payoff. Ridden by Uriel Lopez the son of Shore Breeze covered the 6 panels in 1:11 3/5 . It was the sixth career victory for Logans’sshorebreeze and his 25th in the money finish from 57 lifetime starts. The win elevated his career earnings to more than $69,000.
