“Prize” claims AGameofSkill.com Claimer of the Week honors

Claimer of the Week at AGameofSkill.comPrairie Prize showed the way around Arlington Park in the first race Sunday afternoon to easily win the $5,000 claiming event. The 6 year old didn’t give jockey Tanner Riggs a chance to see the competition leading the entire 6 furlongs with a final time of 1:12.44. Prairie Prize was making her first start for trainer Michael Stidham after being claimed in late August.  Owned by Hilary Pridham, the chestnut mare returned $3.60 to her supporters.  She now has career earnings over $173,000 with 11 wins and 23 in the money finishes from 37 lifetime starts.
